MCS Computer Science

The online Master of Computer Science (MCS) is designed for those interested in expanding their knowledge of computer science and computation. In this program, you’ll gain an advanced understanding of topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and big data, while strengthening your skills through technical projects.
The program reflects the dual nature of computer science as a scientific and engineering discipline by allowing emphasis on theory as well as practical applications.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (scale is 4.00 = “A”) in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor’s degree program, or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (scale is 4.00 = “A”) in an applicable master’s degree program.

All applicants must submit:

  • Graduate admission application and application fee
  • Official transcripts
  • A statement of purpose
  • Proof of English proficiency

Proof of English proficiency: (TOEFL>80 iBT, IELTS>6.5, Pearson Test of English>60, Duolingo>105), all taken within the last two years from start date.
